After two national conferences, the Health Days 2025 (#HDs2025) will be hosted for the first time in an international edition on-site on 13 and 14 March 2025 at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna, Austria. Special Focus this year - ONE HEALTH
The WHO and also the European Commission in the freshly released Mission letter for the Commissioner-designate for Health and Animal Welfare focus on One Health. But for most parties the definition is not yet clear or the implications on different aspects of life like in the business context are yet not fully understandable.
The One Health High Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP) shared a new definiton, which states:
"One Health is an integrated, unifying approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, animals and ecosystems. It recognizes the health of humans, domestic and wild animals, plants, and the wider environment (including ecosystems) are closely linked and inter-dependent. The approach mobilizes multiple sectors, disciplines and communities at varying levels of society to work together to foster well-being and tackle threats to health and ecosystems, while addressing the collective need for clean water, energy and air, safe and nutritious food, taking action on climate change, and contributing to sustainable development." - source

The Health Days 2023 & 2024 in retrospect
The first two health days were a kick-off onto the road to the international edition. Held in the grand hall at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber they focused on topics, which fostered international trade and facilitated the discussions on trending topics such as e-health or the European Health Data Space.
The conference exceeded expectations with about 200 Austrian participants alone. Therefore, this year starting into the international edition, with more than 10 incoming delegations from all around the globe, we are expecting a new record attendance.
