Seeking a Partner for Clinical Trials and Certification Process

Nieamputuj.pl is a Polish start-up that has developed software using advanced AI technology for the diagnosis of foot wounds in patients suffering from diabetic foot syndrome. Based on two images of the foot taken from different angles, one image of the wound, and responses to six closed-ended questions, eleven AI models perform varying levels of analysis of seven wound characteristics (including Charcot foot, neuropathy, angiopathy, and infection).

As a result of the analysis, the user receives one of seventy medical diagnoses. The diagnosis includes a set of preventive information that helps the patient understand how to manage the wound, where to seek medical care, and how a physician should proceed in such a case. Thanks to this diagnosis, the patient has the opportunity to avoid limb amputation.

The AI algorithms are deployed in the cloud and are available via an API interface. To enable easy use of the algorithms, a mobile application was developed that guides users through the assessment process and allows results to be stored in the history. The application does not require the provision of personal data or user registration and operates using generated virtual identifiers. The mobile application was developed using Flutter and is available in the Google Play and Apple App stores.

The company is looking for a partner for clinical trials and the medical certification process of the solution, or a sponsor to fund these activities.
