I represent the official Norwegian invest-in organisation and I am responsible for health and life science, our services are free of charge:

 Norway and Norwegian companies have a set of strongholds that we note are of interest to European companies that are looking to expand or collaborate across borders.

The four key areas are as follows:

1.      Radiopharma (primarily targeting cancer, but also cardiovascular diseases) – a strong and growing ecosystem of companies combined with strong government funded research.

2.      Health Tech and MedTech (sensor technologies, ultrasound, robotics and use of health data) – strong tech transfer from substantial investments made in the offshore industry combined with world leading health data.

3.      Blue Health (vaccine development for the aquaculture industry and marine bioprospecting) – Second biggest fish exporting nation in the world and biggest fish farming industry of salmon and trout in the world, combined with world leading marine biobanks based on arctic deep-sea species that can and are being used for new drug development.

4.      Military and Arctic Health (including dual‑use solutions, with particular focus on prehospital services) - Northern most located university – substantial research, innovation and testbed facilities for both military and arctic health.
