Founded in 2023, Cobalt Contraception is developing a non-hormonal, reversible male contraceptive solution to address the gender imbalance in reproductive responsibility. Based upon the research of Dr Mieusset from Toulouse University Hospital, the Cobalt underwear is a design and comfortable wearable medical device allowing for thermal male contraception. To support adoption of the method, we are developing an at-home auto-diagnostic tool, a spermogram, to easily monitor contraceptive efficacity. Supported by non-dilutive funding and strategic partnerships with top research institutions, we're currently raising to achieve clinical validation and CE-marking of our thermal contraceptive boxer and digital health platform, to achieve commercial launch.
