About me
I am an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Wolkite University with over 3 years of experience in clinical care, academic teaching, research, and health advocacy. I provide direct patient care, mentor medical students and residents, and lead clinical initiatives in high-burden regions for respiratory and chronic diseases.
Beyond clinical practice, I have extensive experience in health communication and digital engagement, producing and hosting weekly national TV programs on infectious and chronic diseases, maternal and child health, nutrition, and preventive care. I am the founder of Pie Consulting, leading health media projects and multimedia interventions to promote awareness and behavior change.
My research interests include lower respiratory tract infections, antimicrobial resistance, medical ethics and implementation science. I am keen to collaborate on projects combining clinical research, pathogen profiling, digital tools, and capacity building to improve health outcomes in sub-Saharan Africa.
