About

Rehbox is seeking collaboration partners across physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal – MSK) and rehabilitation to support the development, evaluation, and application of a digital AI-enabled exercise and rehabilitation platform.

The aim of this collaboration is to work with academic, clinical, public sector, and industry partners to explore user cases, co-design rehabilitation pathways, and undertake pilots, trials, or grant-funded research projects.

Description

Rehbox is a digital AI physiotherapy and rehabilitation platform designed to support personalised exercise prescription, real-time exercise coaching, remote monitoring, and patient education. The platform is designed to enhance traditional physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches by enabling safe, effective, and engaging exercise delivery in home and community settings.

A key feature of Rehbox is its wearable-free, real-time exercise coaching, delivered using edge-based computer vision, which provides immediate feedback on exercise performance without requiring additional hardware.

Core capabilities include:

  • MSK pre-assessment and screening tool to capture injury history, symptoms, functional limitations, and relevant risk factors, supporting stratification of lower- and higher-risk participants and informing appropriate rehabilitation pathways

  • Personalised and condition-specific exercise programmes prescribed by clinicians or researchers

  • Real-time, wearable-free exercise coaching using edge-based computer vision

  • Remote monitoring of exercise performance, adherence, and engagement

  • Integrated educational content to support participant understanding, confidence, and self-management
