Menothera — Seeking R&D, Manufacturing & Regulatory Partners for AI Cooling Wearable

Menothera is a Vienna-based femtech startup developing a smart wearable that predicts disruptive hot flashes through AI-driven, just-in-time body cooling. We have a working proof-of-concept prototype and a strong advisory network.

For our R&D project, we are looking for partners with experience in wearable sensor development, signal processing, or physiological monitoring who can support sensor-fabric integration and data collection protocols.

We also look for a manufacturing partner capable of producing washable smart garments at small initial volumes, with a path to scaling. Experience with technical or functional textiles, embedded electronics, or medical-grade garments is a strong advantage.

We plan to recruit menopausal volunteers for physiological data collection to train our predictive algorithm. Partners who can support clinical oversight, participant recruitment, or ethical approval processes in Austria or the wider EU are highly welcome.
